Overcoming Body Image Challenges in Running with Brady Shay (#101)

In today's episode, I interview, Brady Shay. You can find her running in pink somewhere in Colorado. She found her passion for running unexpectedly 12 years ago while in high school. For her, running started as something to do to fill her free time until it quickly turned into daily movement. 

She uses running to feel good in her mind, body, and soul. Over the last year, she has focused more intentionally on becoming a faster runner, upped my shoe and fit game a bit, and is excited to complete her 7th half marathon in May, with hopes of finishing healthy and earning a new PR! In her free time, she loves to hike, bike, walk, spend time outdoors, do yoga, and garden.  

Brady is a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Nutrition Coach, and Health Promotion Specialist. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Master of Public Health in Physical Activity and Healthy Lifestyles. Her goal is to inspire women to create positive relationships with movement, food, and their bodies to feel strong and confident and allow them to move freely, breathe mindfully, and live fearlessly.
