My running philosophy (#82)

In today's episode, I talk about my top 10 lessons (my philosophy) on running. Tips that I would give to fellow runners to help them improve.

The best lesson is to understand your WHY and this will make the journey much easier.

Episode Highlights:

  • I discuss why runners need to do cross training (move your body in different ways). I guess a 25-year-long study that answered the question "How much of a life expectancy do humans receive from playing a individual sport?"

  • I discuss the importance of strength training for runners. Why they need to push their bodies outside of running, and what this does for life expectancy

  • Finally I discuss smaller things like sleep, hydration, and nutrition

What would be on your list?
