In today’s episode I review the story of one of the most inspirational runners ever. Terry Fox. Terry never saw himself as a hero, or inspiration to others however he single handedly has raised more money for cancer research then any other individual. He showed great determination to achieve any goal that he set. Regardless of Terry’s setbacks: his cancer diagnosis, or his amputation he continued to press forward and showed a great example for any cancer survivor or any people with disabilities.
Since the beginning of Terry’s journey to raise $22 million in cancer research, that number has now reached $850 million, bringing hope and health to millions of Canadians.
