Beyond the Finish Line: Life Lessons for High School Runners with John Boyd Jr. (#90)

Today i am joined with John Boyd Jr. John is a cross country and Track coach from Ste. Genevieve High School in Ste. Genevieve, MO


John was a graduate of the same school, where he is now the Principle He was a graduate of Linwood University where he was an All-American for both Cross Country and Track. John then attended Missouri Baptist University, where he completed a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership in 2015. 


He went back to Ste. Genevieve in 2011, where he was a teacher for 7 years. He had served as an assistant coach under his former running coach, Coach Brian Jett. John then became the head coach after coach Jett’s retirement.


In his personal life, he has been married for 6 years to to wife Sierra, and has two kids- JB and Emery.
