There Is A Spot At The Starting Line For Everyone with Jason Bahamundi (#92)

In today's episode I am joined with Jason Bahamundi from Run Try Bike.

Jason is the founder of Run Tri Bike, a passionate and accomplished endurance athlete dedicated to proving that there is a spot at the starting line for everybody and every body. With a background deeply rooted in the world of triathlons, running, and cycling, Jason has not only excelled in his personal athletic endeavors but is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive world of endurance sports. This led him to establish Run Tri Bike, a platform that serves as a hub for enthusiasts to connect, share experiences, and access valuable resources. Jason's genuine enthusiasm for endurance sports, continues to inspire individuals to pursue their goals and embrace the transformative power of an endurance sports lifestyle.

Episode Highlights:

  • Jason's start of endurance events began in 2006, with a charity event ( ½ marathon). The beginnings of running did not feel good, but soon after he fell in love with longer events

  • We talk about a few tips for beginners looking to run their first ultra marathon event- specifically a 100 mile race event

  • We talk about his most passionate envedor to date- Run Tri Bike, and discus the idea how “Not everyone is training for a gold medal”
